  • How I Survived 2024 While Living in My Car – My Real YouTuber Journey

How I Survived 2024 While Living in My Car – My Real YouTuber Journey

As I sit here on December 30th, 2024, inside my car—the place I’ve called home for the past five months—I wanted to record a message to my future self. A reminder of where I started, what I’ve struggled through, and what I’m fighting for as I continue my YouTuber journey.

Today, my channel sits at 731 subscribers. Not a huge number to some, but to me, each one of those subscribers represents someone who believed in my story, my struggles, and my dream of making it on YouTube. I told myself I would post this video exactly one year later—December 30th, 2025—to see where I stand.

🚗Living in a Car: The Reality of 2024

2024 has been one of the toughest years of my life. For months, I’ve been living in my car, balancing a truck-driving job, recording YouTube videos, going to the gym when I can, and trying not to fall apart mentally.

Car life isn’t glamorous. Some days, the car is messy, cold, or uncomfortable. But it has taught me resilience. It has taught me hunger—not the physical hunger, but the hunger to build something bigger with my life.

    🎬My YouTuber Journey – 2018 to Now

I started my YouTube journey back in 2018.
Six whole years of grinding, uploading, dreaming, failing, trying again, and refusing to quit.

Sometimes it feels like YouTube is killing my mental health, especially when I’m juggling night shifts, CDL training, editing during the day, and barely sleeping. But the passion has never died.

2024 reminded me of one thing:
If you want something badly, you have to keep fighting for it.

🎯My Goal: Road to 1,000 Subscribers

My hope for 2025 is simple:
    Reach 1,000 subscribers.
    Get monetized.
Feel like all this chaos led somewhere.

If December 2025 arrives and I’m still not at 1K… then yeah, I’ll probably question everything. But even then, I know I’ll keep pushing. Because this YouTuber journey isn’t just about numbers—it’s about becoming the person who never gives up.

🌆Dreaming of a Life Beyond Chicago

In the video, I talked about maybe moving to New York one day, or anywhere that feels peaceful. Living in a car in Chicago winters is no joke. My hope for the future is simple:
    A roof.
    Peace.
A place I can finally call home.

📩A Message to My Future Self

I told my future self this:
“Josh, I hope you made it. I hope you’re happier. I hope you’re out of the car. I hope you didn’t give up.”

Whether I reach 1,000 subscribers or not by next year, I’ll still be trying new things, still creating, still pushing forward.

🎆Happy New Year — And Don’t Give Up

    2024 was survival mode.
    2025 is growth mode.
2026… that’s the year I believe everything changes.

    To anyone reading this:
Don’t give up on your dreams.
    Even when life feels impossible.
Even when you’re living in your car.
Even when no one believes in you yet.

    Keep going.
    Keep creating.
    Keep fighting.

Because one day, everything you’re working for will be worth it.

Homeless Morning Routine While Hitting 1K Subs

Homeless Morning Routine While Hitting 1K Subs – Life in a Tesla

    By The Creator Josh
    Watch the full video here

    Meta Description:

Josh celebrates hitting 1,000 YouTube subscribers by sharing a raw, unfiltered look at his daily morning routine while living out of his Tesla. From storage units to showers at the gym, this is the reality of chasing a dream.

    From 0 to 1,000: A 7-Year Grind

Josh hit a massive milestone: 1,000 subscribers after 7 years of pushing out content. It’s not just a number—it’s validation. To celebrate, he walks viewers through his current reality: living in a Tesla, hustling daily, and never giving up on his dream of being a full-time YouTuber.

“It took since 2018 to get here. 1,000 subs might not seem like a lot, but that’s a whole concert crowd. I’m proud of every single one.”

    Waking Up Homeless… But Focused

Josh starts his morning like most people don’t: in the backseat of his car. With nine months of car life under his belt, he’s perfected the Tesla-bed setup and even found a system for brushing his teeth, using mouthwash, and stretching out the soreness of sleeping cramped.

Despite the discomfort, Josh keeps his routine clean and structured. Toothpaste, vitamins, deodorant, and even anti-aging cream all have their place in a tote bag turned mobile bathroom.

    The Storage Unit Hustle

His next stop? The storage unit. It’s where he keeps everything: socks, underwear, gym clothes, shoes, work pants, even his iconic leather jacket. It’s also his mini-dressing room and the backbone of his minimalist lifestyle. For $50/month, it’s a makeshift closet, laundry room, and base of operations.

“Without this unit, I’d have nothing.”

    Gym Showers & Mindset Reset

Anytime Fitness doubles as Josh’s bathroom. With private shower stalls, it beats the LA Fitness chaos he used to deal with. It’s also where he reflects, resets, and gets his mind right for the day.

He talks openly about the struggles of staying clean, motivated, and upbeat—especially when things feel hopeless. But it’s clear he’s determined to stay 100% on, no matter how rough things get.

“There should be no excuses. You can cry a little, but then you keep moving.”

    Goals, Gratitude & What’s Next

Josh doesn’t shy away from being broke or feeling isolated. But he’s driven. He talks about moving forward, growing his channel, and proving the doubters wrong. He’s doing Uber Eats, cutting costs, and avoiding buying cheap underwear (for real).

This vlog is equal parts motivational, hilarious, and heartbreaking. It’s an intimate look at someone chasing their dream at full speed, with no safety net.

“Once I move into an apartment, I’ll be a god. Because right now, I’m at my lowest.”

  • I Spent 24 Hours Alone in Millennium Park Chicago (And Here’s What Happened)

I Spent 24 Hours Alone in Millennium Park Chicago (And Here’s What Happened)

    Hey friends — Josh here.

This week, I decided to do something a little different: spend a full day solo exploring one of Chicago’s most iconic spots — Millennium Park.

I grew up in Chicago, but honestly, I don’t visit The Bean (aka Cloud Gate) nearly as much as you’d think. So I grabbed my camera, some good vibes, and hit the park with no plan except to soak it all in.

    Why Millennium Park?

Because it’s a Chicago staple. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Millennium Park hits different. From the epic views of downtown to the weird water-spitting faces (yeah, we’ll get to that), this place is packed with art, architecture, and low-key chaotic energy.

But really, this video wasn’t about The Bean. It was about being alone, on purpose. It was about choosing to explore, to reflect, and to vibe with the city — even if nobody else is around.

    What I Did

    • Saw The Bean from 47 different angles 😂
    • Got emotionally confused by a public toilet 🚽
    • Touched things I maybe shouldn’t have
    • Dropped fun (and possibly false) Chicago facts
    • Strolled across the Peapod Bridge
    • Explored the gardens and weird art posts
    • Got real about hot dogs, pigeons, and overpriced nachos
    • Almost fell in love (with mini golf)
    • Closed it all out with a dramatic fountain finale (minus the water)

Basically, I walked around like your favorite chaotic tour guide.

    Favorite Moments

💡 The Bean Hits Different Yes, it’s shiny. Yes, it’s reflective. Yes, everyone’s taken a selfie with it. But there’s still something magical about how it mirrors the skyline. Also, it’s fun to pretend you’re squishing it from a distance.

🌭 Portillo’s Hot Dogs = Chicago Energy Don’t tell anyone, but… I hate Chicago-style hot dogs. Ketchup-only gang. Sorry not sorry.

🎭 Random Art Posts and Spitting Faces Chicago is weird. And I love that. The faces on the fountain? Creepy. People getting spit on? Iconic.

🏙️ Bridge Walks and Garden Vibes Millennium Park is so much more than just The Bean. It’s a vibe. And walking solo through all of it made me feel a little more connected to my city.

  • I Tried to Become Famous: Full Series 1-8

I Tried to Become Famous: Full Series 1-8

Focus Keywords: How to become famous, social media fame, viral stunts, YouTube success, TheCreatorJosh

The Road to Fame: A Chaotic Experiment

What does it really take to get famous? In this 8-part series, I set out to answer that question by trying everything possible—from launching fireworks to social experiments and even (accidentally) getting kidnapped. It’s been a wild ride, and now you can relive every crazy moment from start to finish.

    Episode Breakdown

Episode 1: The Struggle is Real

I start my journey frustrated and confused. With over 90 videos and not nearly enough subscribers, I ask my friend Alex for help. His advice? Try anything and everything to get attention. Let’s just say… things got out of hand quickly.

Episode 2: The List of Fame

Alex presents a 17-step plan to get famous, and I realize that some of his ideas are questionable at best. From dodging fireworks to bizarre publicity stunts, this is where the madness begins.

Episode 3: Stand-Up Comedy Gone Wrong

Thinking I could be a comedian, I test my best jokes on Alex. Turns out, I’m no Kevin Hart. The crowd (aka Alex) was NOT impressed. Back to the drawing board!

    Episode 4: Business Cards & Shameless Self-Promotion

Since comedy wasn’t working, we printed business cards to promote my channel. We hit the streets, passing them out to strangers, stuffing them in mailboxes, and trying to force the world to notice me. Results? Mixed, to say the least.

Episode 5: Fireworks, Chaos, and Regret

Alex decided that almost setting me on fire was the next big idea. I barely survived this one. Do NOT try this at home.

Episode 6: TikTok Fame & Firework Insanity

Desperate for more attention, Alex insisted we launch more fireworks—this time for TikTok. Let’s just say it ended in running, screaming, and near disaster. Worth it? Debatable.

Episode 7: Paying for Subscribers (And Getting Kidnapped?!)

I got so desperate that I started paying people to subscribe to my channel. Things took a DARK turn when I was suddenly kidnapped. (Yes, for real.)

Episode 8: The Aftermath & The Next Big Idea

After escaping (don’t ask how), I realized that fame might not be worth dying for. But I wasn’t giving up yet. My next idea? A viral spicy wing challenge with Alex. Because, apparently, pain equals views.

Final Thoughts: What Did I Learn?

After all the madness, one thing is clear: getting famous is NOT easy. It takes strategy, luck, and a bit of insanity. While I may not be viral (yet), this series was proof that I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it big.

Would I do it all again? Probably. Stay tuned for the next wild experiment. Until then, stay positive, stay subscribed, and never stop chasing your dreams!
