☕ Chaos in a Cup: Josh’s Mission to Find the Best Iced Coffee in Chicago

🔥 Chicago Heat + Caffeine Dreams

It was one of those melt-your-face-off days in Chicago, and Josh had one mission: find the best iced coffee in the city. Simple enough, right? Wrong. What started as a caffeine adventure turned into chaos in a cup. From local gems to drive-thru nightmares, Josh ranked, ranted, and sipped his way across five coffee spots—sometimes impressed, sometimes deeply betrayed.

☕ Stop #1: Cosmics Iced Caramel Latte

Josh kicked off the journey at Cosmics (yes, the McDonald’s spinoff coffee chain that’s closing soon). He ordered the iced caramel latte—classic, refreshing, and definitely a summer win. Two thumbs up, but not mind-blowing. Josh left satisfied, but still wanting more kick.

🍩 Stop #2: Parlor Donuts – Coffee Flop, Donut Glory

Next up was Parlor Donuts, where the honey cinnamon cold brew sadly… flopped. Flat, flavorless, and “just iced coffee that tastes like ass” (Josh’s words).

But then—redemption. A French toast donut so good Josh practically blacked out mid-bite. Fresh, warm, and bursting with flavor, it stole the show. If the coffee was a fail, the donut was an instant W.

    🌡️ The Heatwave Rant

By this point, Josh was drenched in sweat, mic’d up in his car with the AC off (because YouTube audio > comfort). He powered through, demanding the next cup deliver something real.

    ⭐ Stop #3: Starbucks Cold Foam Espresso – A Big W

Then came the surprise hero: Starbucks. Josh doesn’t usually drink Starbucks, but this cold foam espresso hit different. Smooth, balanced, and paired with the sweetest barista writing “Enjoy” on his cup. Josh declared it: “Not about the coffee—it’s about the experience.” Starbucks took the lead.

🚗 Stop #4: Seven Brew – 40 Minutes for German Chocolate Coffee

The fourth stop tested Josh’s patience: Seven Brew Coffee, where the drive-thru line stretched two blocks. After 30+ minutes and $7 later, he finally tried the German chocolate coffee with caramel, coconut, mocha, and cold foam. Verdict? Good, but not $7 and half-an-hour good.

Josh’s take: “Why wait that long for something I can down in two seconds?”

😩 Stop #5: Dunkin’ Mocha Iced Coffee – Instant Regret

Finally, Josh pulled up to Dunkin’ Donuts for a mocha iced coffee. Hopes were low, but reality was lower. One sip in, and it was an instant “this is ass” moment. Lacking sweetness, balance, or really… anything worth mentioning, Dunkin’ iced coffee became the official loser of the day.

🍕 Bonus Announcement: Pizza Channel Relaunch!

Before signing off, Josh dropped some exciting news—his Pizza Channel and second channel (TheCreatorJosh2) are officially back. More uploads, more chaos, more content across the board.

    ❤️ Final Thoughts

What started as a mission for caffeine turned into a wild, sweaty odyssey across Chicago. From Starbucks Ws to Dunkin’ Ls, Josh proved one thing: sometimes the best part of the coffee run is the chaos along the way.

🍦 We Ate 1000 Ice Creams… Just Kidding!

New Videos Every Week! 📦 Storage Runs, 💸 Real Talk & 🍦 Ice Cream Museum Vibes

What’s up, YouTube fam! Today was a HOT one in Chicago, and I took y’all through the full day—chaos, sweat, ice cream, and all. From a morning coffee run in Bolingbrook, to digging through my storage unit, talking debt and bouncing back, and then hitting the Ice Cream Museum, this vlog had it all. And yeah… we almost ate 1000 ice creams (okay, not really).

☕ Morning Motivation + Coffee Run

Started the day at 8:30 AM with some vibes and a latte from Honeymoon Coffee. Gave it a 6/10—not bad, not life-changing, but hey… caffeine is caffeine.

🧠 Life Update: Getting My Groove Back

Been a tough few months, but I’m finally back to posting two videos a week (Wednesdays & Sundays). When YouTube isn’t part of my life, things feel off. But now I’m digging myself out of the hole—mentally, financially, and physically.

💸 Real Talk: Debt, Depression & Bouncing Back

Debt hit me hard when I wasn’t working for two months. I maxed out everything and even hit the point where I was like, “Guess I’m not eating.” But here’s the truth—you can’t stay stuck forever. You gotta patch the hole and start climbing out. That’s where I’m at now.

📦 Storage Unit Vibes & Minimalist Wardrobe

Not much has changed—still rocking the same rotation of joggers and tanks. Clothes can wait. For now, it’s all about debt payoff and self-care. Once that’s handled, maybe I’ll upgrade the wardrobe.

    🏃‍♂️ Running & Fitness Journey

Trying to run at least one mile a day—today I clocked in around 2 miles in brutal heat. The big goal? Lose 30 lbs before my friend’s wedding in July. It’s not easy, but nothing worth it ever is.

🍦 The Ice Cream Museum Adventure

Now for the fun part—the Ice Cream Museum. Whipped pink ice cream, sprinkles everywhere, and yeah… some weird choices. Ever tried hot dog ice cream? Don’t. Just don’t. Regret levels = maximum.

🏮 Chinatown + Viral Toy Rant

Wrapped up the day with a spontaneous trip to Chinatown—good food, cool vibes, and me ranting about a viral toy that may or may not be worth the hype.

    ❤️ Final Thoughts

Life’s getting better, slowly but surely. Thanks for rocking with me through the chaos.
If you made it this far: comment your favorite ice cream flavor 🍦 + drop a 🔥 if you’ve ever eaten ice cream in 100-degree heat.

Josh Visits Seafood City in Chicago for Filipino Snacks & Nostalgia

🌏 A Taste of Home in Chicago

Josh had been missing the Philippines lately. As someone who is half-Filipino, he hadn’t visited since he was 18, but one trip to Seafood City Chicago brought all the memories rushing back.

Seafood City isn’t just a grocery store — it’s a hub for the Filipino community. From Jollibee to Grill City to endless imported snacks, walking in feels like being transported back home.

🍫 Cocoa Crunchies & Childhood Memories

Josh started with Cocoa Crunchies, a chocolatey wafer snack he hadn’t tasted in years. The first bite instantly brought him back to being 14 years old, working at his lolo’s (grandpa’s) small Filipino store called Three Rs.

Back then, a $100 paycheck and Cocoa Crunchies made him feel rich. Even now, that familiar crunch hit him with pure nostalgia.

💜 Ube Wafer Sticks – The Iconic Flavor

Next came the ube wafer sticks — bright purple, sweet, and unmistakably Filipino. For Josh, ube is the flavor that defines Filipino desserts.

One bite and he was back in Manila summers, surrounded by family, snacks, and culture that shaped who he is today.

    🥖 Pandesal: The Classic Bread

Josh picked up some pandesal, the warm bread roll he used to share fresh from the oven with his lolo.

This time, the store-bought version was a little dry — but the nostalgia made up for it. For Josh, pandesal will always taste like home.

🧀 Chips, Cheese Balls & Garlic Peanuts

Josh also tried a mix of other classic Filipino snacks:

    • Piattos chips – light, crispy, and surprisingly addictive.
    • Cheese balls – a little stale, but somehow still delicious.
    • Garlic peanuts – salty, garlicky, and exactly how he remembered eating them at family gatherings.
    • Cracker nuts – crunchy on the outside, nutty on the inside, and forever a childhood favorite.

Every bite was less about the flavor and more about the memories attached to it.

    ❤️ Filipino Culture, Forever

As Josh wrapped up his Seafood City trip, he reflected on what it meant to grow up surrounded by Filipino culture in Chicago.

Food wasn’t just food — it was family, memory, and identity. Even though life had pulled him away from the Philippines, these snacks reminded him of who he is and where he came from.

For Josh, the Philippines will always be home.

🏃 Josh Tried to Run a Marathon on a Treadmill (With Zero Training)

    🏃 The Wild Idea

Josh had one of his trademark “what if?” moments and decided: Why not try to run a full marathon on a treadmill? The problem? He didn’t train, didn’t stretch, didn’t bring water, and had no plan. Basically — a recipe for chaos.

He hit Anytime Fitness late at night, hopped on a treadmill, and swore he wouldn’t get off until 26.2 miles were done. Spoiler: it didn’t exactly go that way.

    ⏱️ The First Few Miles

At first, Josh kept things slow. “We’ll take it easy,” he said, trying to convince himself this was doable. Ten minutes in, though, the regrets were already creeping in. By mile 2, his stomach, his legs, and his brain all started filing complaints.

Also — he forgot stretching. Rookie mistake.

♟️ The Chess Break & Bathroom Commentary

What do you do when you’re stuck on a treadmill losing your mind? Josh… played chess on the treadmill screen. Against the computer. On easy mode. (Yes, he counted it as a win.)

Then came the bathroom breaks. Josh actually carried his camera commentary into the restroom, narrating the chaos mid-challenge like it was a sports broadcast. “Sad music, no happy music — wait, dramatic music,” he joked. It was peak unfiltered Josh.

🚶 The Switch to Speed Walking

Running didn’t last long. By mile 5, Josh’s legs were fried, so he swapped to speed walking. “This is my grandpa’s secret weapon,” he explained. The treadmill pace slowed, but the grind continued.

Between bathroom trips, random rants, and calorie counts, Josh convinced himself speed walking was the cheat code for life. “Running is terrible for you anyway,” he said. Classic Josh logic.

    💀 The Breaking Point

At 7 miles and over 2.5 hours in, Josh’s body started to shut down. His feet ached, his legs burned, and he still hadn’t had a single sip of water. Nearly 1,600 calories gone, zero hydration, and one collapsing YouTuber.

By then, the “marathon attempt” had officially downgraded to a “Josh vs. survival mode” vlog.

    🏁 The (Failed) Finish Line

After almost five hours at the gym, Josh called it. No marathon. No 26.2. Not even close. Instead, he racked up 7 miles, several bathroom breaks, one chess victory, and another notch on his belt of failed challenges.

But that’s the point — Josh’s chaos isn’t about winning. It’s about trying, failing, laughing, and sharing the madness with his community.

“Mark it down,” he said. “Another failed challenge. Probably my tenth.” And with that, he promised to maybe (maybe) try again outside one day.

    ❤️ Final Thoughts

Running a marathon without training? Terrible idea. But would Josh do it again? Probably.

I Visited My Old Job For Food

🎃 Halloween in July?! Josh’s Errand Run, Money Rants & Nostalgic Food Trip

    Meta Description:
Josh shops Halloween in July, rants about being broke, tries Crystal Candy, suits up for a wedding, & eats garlic-loaded nostalgia in Chicago.

    🎃 Halloween in July?

Josh couldn’t believe it. Pumpkins and skeletons—already hitting shelves in the middle of July. One second he was driving, the next he was ranting about people buying up Halloween decorations months too early. “It is JULY, you [__],” he laughed. But hey, maybe it was the perfect chaotic start to a chaotic vlog day.

🕒 No Time, No Money, All Hustle

Life lately? A mix of grinding, filming, editing, and—being broke. Josh opened up about the endless cycle of working, paying debt, and never having enough time in the day. He even sold his camera just to throw money at debt. The frustration was real, and the caffeine-fueled rants came pouring out.

But behind the chaos, Josh reflected on what “normal” feels like again—living with a friend, meal prepping on a budget, and trying to figure out the next move. Apartment dreams? Maybe. But for now, survival mode was the vibe.

    ☕ Starbucks Betrayal

Josh pulled up to Starbucks for his go-to drink, only to get scammed by a half-filled cup. “Seven bucks for this?!” he joked. Still, the espresso hit, and within seconds he was wired, buzzing through his errands, and ready for more chaos.

🍬 Candy Chaos – Crystal Candy & Squid Game Treats

Somewhere between errands and caffeine crashes, Josh tried Crystal Candy—that crunchy TikTok-famous stuff. His verdict? “It just tastes like sugar.” Then came the Squid Game candy challenge. He cracked the triangle piece with surgical precision… only to shrug and say: “Yep, just sugar.”

Sometimes the internet overhypes things, and Josh was not afraid to call it out.

👔 Suit Shopping for the Wedding

Josh had a wedding coming up and needed something fresh. He hit the racks, tried on fits, and joked about the classic one-time-use-and-return hack. Nothing really worked—too big, too small, too business manager vibes. The hunt for affordable style continues.

🌭 Nostalgia Stop: The Dog Stop

Then came the best part of the vlog—a food stop at The Dog Stop, Josh’s first-ever job. The place hadn’t changed a bit. Same old-school vibe, same menu, and even the same garlic sauce he remembered sneaking discounts on as a teen worker.

Josh ordered fries piled high with gyro meat and smothered in their famous homemade garlic sauce. One bite in, and the nostalgia hit hard: “Just as I remember.” His friends rated it an 8.5/10—though Josh argued decimals are the only fair way to score food.

    ❤️ Final Thoughts

Between Halloween pumpkins in July, broke-life rants, sugar bombs, ill-fitting suits, and a garlic sauce time machine, Josh’s vlog was pure chaos—in the best way.
